Garden loudspeaker SGS 8.1
With the Sonance SGS 8.1 (set), you get a complete audio system for the garden / outdoor area, except for the amplifier and the playback device. The set consists of 8x SGS 4″ satellite speakers, 8x 23 cm ground spikes and an SGS 10″ subwoofer. The components put together in the set are perfectly matched and deliver a powerful sound in outdoor areas and gardens. The Sonance SGS 8.1 (set) has several advantages compared to a conventional garden speaker. Due to the 8x satellite speakers, a balanced and area-wide sound coverage is achieved in the outdoor area. This means that there are no hot spots (loud areas), as is the case with conventional speakers. You will notice this advantage even at low volumes, i.e. with background music, as the intelligibility of speech and music is then already much higher than with conventional loudspeakers. The even distribution of the outdoor satellite speakers also often avoids conflicts with neighbouring properties, as music and radio can be listened to at a lower volume in the evening. However, the SGS 8.1 (set) is not only suitable for background music, this can also be used without problems for garden parties with high volume.
Since the satellite speakers cannot cover the bass range due to the small enclosure, a 10″ SGS subwoofer is also included with the SGS 8.1 (set). This provides the necessary boom and compensates for the frequencies that cannot be reproduced by the satellite speakers. In contrast to the satellite speakers, which are inserted into the ground with ground spikes or can be mounted on fences or trees with the optional brackets, the 10″ subwoofer is buried in the ground until only the mushroom-shaped sound outlet protrudes from the ground.
