Whether as a tool shed, workshop or sauna house – the insulated design outbuilding CasaNova® proves unique flexibility with extensive equipment variants and adapts exactly to your ideas.
The insulated Biohort Outbuilding Casanova not only impresses with its modern appearance and all year-round functionality, but can also be easily customised to suit each owner’s individual requirements.
We have now added a new fully glazed wall element to the existing selection of window, door and garage door options; it has been developed with the aim of increasing the comfort CasaNova® already offers and leaves you free to choose how you wish to use it; as an equipment store, a workshop or a hobby room; or as a storage space for your plants during winter or thanks to the addition of our new sauna module a place to sweat and relax.
Single door: supplied with stainless steel door handle and cylinder lock (incl. spare key), prevents unwanted access and is approved by insurance companies. The door is designed to be particularly robust and stable. Dimensions: 90 x 198 cm.
The direction in which the door opens (to the left or right) can be chosen by the customer. The door can be fitted on all sides.
Gas assisted spring damper: assists not only when opening and closing the door, but also holds the door in the desired position.
360° Acrylic glass-fanlight: Ensures adequate daylight illumination from all sides within CasaNova. The acrylic glass fanlight can be opened on 2 sides to improve ventilation.
Low ground sill: Allows heavy equipment to be moved in and out of CasaNova; smoothly, comfortably and with a minimum of effort. Height: 26mm.
2 gutters with rainwater downpipes: Guarantee a smooth and efficient run-off of rainwater from the roof.
Modern flat roof: Constructed from 3-layer plywood panels and robust UV resistant and root proof EPDM rubber sheeting. The roof can be insulated on-site with XPS-hard foam panels. The roof construction makes a “green roof” a real practical possibilty. The sloped roof with an angle of 1% is invisible from outside and ensures good drainage of water.

Aluminium Floor Frame: Gives the Annexe the necessary stability even without a concrete foundation. The ground anchors supplied ensure a secure, storm-proof anchorage. The use of the floor frame must be planned immediately – a subsequent installation is not possible. The aluminium floor frame has a cross-section of 80 x 40 mm (W x H).
NEW: the Casanova Sauna Module: The Biohort Thermarium manufactured in a 5-corner version, allows you to fulfil the dream of owning your own sauna. With a floor space of 200 x 200 cm (interior dimensions 180 x 180 cm) it will comfortably accommodate two people. The user friendly 6 kW sauna heater with variably adjustable thermostat provides the necessary heat. Scandinavian spruce décor guarantees the original Finnish sauna character.
The Thermarium is fully equipped with corner lights, comfortable loungers, an hourglass, thermometer and complete infusion package, so that you can immediately enjoy the pleasure of using the sauna!
For those who enjoy DIY, self-assembly should present no problems thanks to the illustrated, detailed manual included in the delivery. An assembly service is also available on request.
NEW: Full Length Glazed Wall Elements: The new floor to ceiling glass wall elements enhance the already elegant appearance of CasaNova® and allow extra daylight into the interior, adding to the feeling of comfort and well-being. With a fixed, insulated glass surface of 83 x 181 cm (W x H) and depending on the wall length several elements can be positioned next to one another but, please note; cannot be used as corner elements. The addition helps to visually “lighten” the appearance of CasaNova® and adds to its already imposing appearance and modern design.
Extra Charge For Casanova Glass Door: Doors made of insulating glass make your CasaNova look particularly inviting and flood it with daylight. So you can also enjoy the idyll of the garden optimally from inside. A second door panel is possible.
If you want a glass door as an additional door or double door, you must order the additional door and the second door panel separately.
Tilt and Turn Window Casanova: This high quality window with insulating glass allows extra daylight in the design-annexe (frame size 83 x 65 cm, fitted height 119 cm from lower edge of outer frame). The hinge position can be chosen as required. Because the side wall panels are already cut out by Biohort, a subsequent installation is not possible.
Electric Mounting Panel Casanova: Discrete, hidden cable routing and easy assembly of switches and sockets (electrical equipment in photo not included).
External Spotlights Cut-Outs for Spots: This makes your CasaNova into a real eyecatcher. The cut-outs on the front allow three spotlights to be installed (not included in delivery).
Second Door Wing Casanova: Enables larger equipment to be more easily moved in and out of CasaNova. With this, the complete door opening will be extended to 187 x 198 cm (WxH). The delivery also includes a double locking mechanism, a gas-assisted spring damper and a treshold. The standard position is on the front or back wall. The installation into a sidewall is possible at additional cost. A subsequent installation of the 2nd door wing is not possible.
Extra Door Casanova: Can be fitted in any wall of the Annexe and makes CasaNova accessible from two sides. Included in the delivery are a stainless steel door handle, a cylinder lock, a gas assisted spring damper and an extra treshold. Size: 90 x 198 cm, hinge position can be chosen as required. A subsequent installation of an extra door is not possible.
Hook Set Casanova: Consists of a combination hook, a handle hook and a shovel hook on a wall rack, for slotting between 2 support rails (optioonally available).
If the hook set shall be positioned next to a corner, you need the shorter option with a length of 93 cm (standard: 99 cm).
Acrylic Glass (No Sliding Function): For optimal insulation, the acrylic glass fanlight is also available as double glazing. Please note, that the sliding function of the side glass elements is not available once this option has been fitted.
Overhead Sectional Door Casanova: For anyone who places a high value on comfort. The 42 mm thick door elements ensure stability and the best insulation. Integrated finger trap protection, anti-fall protection system and an optional electric motor with remote control are just a few of the numerous advantages provided by this garage door. Dimensions of door opening: 236 x 200 cm (W x H). Can only be installed in the front or back walls! Suitable for the following CasaNova-sizes: 3×3 (without electric motor), 3×4, 3×5, 3×6, 4×4, 4×5 and 4×6. Please note that the sectional overhead garage door cannot be installed afterwards. Bicycle Holder Bikemax: The BikeMax can be simply and conveniently installed in CasaNova. The hanging hook is height adjustable in 11 different positions and designed to take bicycles of all sizes. Furthermore a locking loop for securing bicycles is already included.
Shelf Support Rails: Powder coated shelf support rails, suitable for use with folding table and shelves. Load carrying capacity: 150 kg per pair of support rails.
Shelf Set Casanova: The shelf units are available in 2 depths (24,5cm and 43c) and 2 lengths (99 and 93 cm). If you want the shelves to be adjacent to a corner, you need the shortened shelves with a lenght of 93 cm. Simply slot into the shelf rails (available separately). Contents: 2 shelves per package.
Folding Table Casanova: easily slotted into 2 shelf support rails, (not included in scope of delivery). Quickly provides a solid working area which can be swiftly folded away. Max. load bearing capacity: 30 kg. Not available for 3 x 2 and 4 x 2.
Coated Roof Support: The inner roof supports in grey-white (interior wall colour) makes CasaNova appear even more elegant than before.
Threshold Access Ramp Casanova Overhead Door: For easy crossing over with heavy equipment, two pieces for the inside and outside. Only possible with aluminium floor frame! Kann nicht mit demSmartBase oder SmartBasePLUS Fundament verwendet werden.
